How to start...
……shaping up for your BIG DAY!
Ok, we’re not talking losing 2 stone in one month! That would not only be dangerous to your health, putting pressure on your internal organs such as your heart but also totally unachievable and you will only be setting yourself up to fail.
Realistically, and yes sorry, you MUST stay realistic here, you are only going to lose up to approximately 8 IBS in one month and actually more likely less than this, unless you have a lot to lose. But that IS okay! Not only is it healthy to lose weight at this rate (1-2 IBS per week), it also puts less pressure on you as a person. After all, who wants to lose masses of weight quickly to the point you are either starving to death, feeling faint and sick all day or spending all your day in the gym morning, noon and night, desperate to achieve a goal that is so unrealistic, you are totally exhausted and end up spoiling your big day completely.
When you decide to start shaping up for your big day is of course entirely up to you. But it is best advised to start as early as possible, and consider how much weight you would like to lose based on the figures above. This will give you a realistic idea on when you should start any exercise programme. The earlier you start before your wedding day is also recommended in order to reduce the level of pressure you have on you so as to sort out everything else that goes with planning a wedding. You are also less likely to comfort eat, as we tend to do this under pressure, so the better organised you are the better equipped you will be to control any unnecessary urges to eat, helping you to control your calorie intake accordingly.
The great thing about Trish’s training is that she will come to you, so you don’t have to find the time to travel to the gym, which Trish finds works best for all her clients. Trish will teach you exercise types that you can successfully do and continue at home or outside on your own, with either small bits of equipment such as Swiss balls, fit balls, resistance bands or skipping workouts or with no equipment at all. This means you don’t have to go out and spend extra money on fitness equipment at a time when you want to put all your money into your wedding.
Trish can also advise you on your nutrition and analyse your food diary if that is your wish.
